I have neglected my teeth for about 7 years now, which led to some of my teeth falling out. What are my options to replace my missing teeth?
So many of our patients are in this same situation—missing teeth due to trauma or years of neglect, but that’s alright because we have a few different options. To replace your missing teeth and regain the functionality of your smile once again, we may recommend dental implants, crowns, or bridges. Once we evaluate your teeth and gums, we can determine which restorative dentistry service is the best for you.
I really want to fix my decayed teeth, but I’m absolutely terrified of going to the dentist. What do you suggest?
Well, it is absolutely critical to take care of your teeth and gums, especially if you don’t want periodontal disease to negatively reflect on your overall health. With that said, sedation dentistry is the recommended approach in order for you to receive the dental treatment you need. Sedation dentistry will help ease your anxieties and fears of going to the dentist. At our office, we offer free nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to our patients as well as oral conscious sedation. Please visit our sedation dentistry page to learn more!

I’ve heard that silver caps are bad for you, and I have a few from when I was a kid. What are my options to replace them?
You are right! Silver amalgam fillings are definitely bad for your health because they contain harmful mercury. We have the solution for you: tooth-colored composite fillings. They are nearly invisible when applied, and they last long, too. To learn more, visit our tooth-colored fillings page, or call our office to ask any questions you may have.
I’ve been a smoker for the past 15 years, and now my teeth might be ruined because they’re yellow in color. Is there anything you can do to remove the ugly, stains on my teeth?
This is a common complaint from patients. Since you have severely stained teeth, we may recommend ZOOM! teeth whitening, which can whiten your teeth up to 8 shades lighter in under one hour! Depending on the severity of the stains on your teeth, we may also recommend porcelain veneers, which are a great option for severely stained teeth when other whitening systems don’t produce the results you seek. Dr. Leo will evaluate your teeth to determine if teeth whitening and porcelain veneers are right for you!
