Jones Bridge Dental Care, the leading dental practice in Alpharetta, today announced their 5th Annual Free Dentistry Day. Download the Flyer Here.
The event will be held at Jones Bridge Dental Care, in Alpharetta, and the team of Jones Bridge Dental Care staff and other area dental volunteers hope to serve well over 150 deserving residents of our community in a single day. The event will begin at 7am on Saturday, June 29, 2013. Dental volunteers will provide examinations, digital x-rays, blood pressure and oral cancer screenings, and a choice of an extraction, filling or cleaning.
Since 2009, Dr. Leo Yelizarov has offered Free Dentistry Day to provide care for members of the community who might not otherwise be able to afford it. From the beginning, the response was overwhelming. “There are a lot of dentists that go on missions overseas, and that’s nice,” said Dr. Leo, “but there are people here, people who need help.”
Patients must be at least 14 years of age, and accompanied by an adult if under the age of 18. Procedures will be performed on a first-come, first-served basis, starting at 7am (one procedure per person). Restrictions may apply for certain medical issues, and any patient that has an issue that cannot be addressed in one day or is in need of ongoing care will be referred to community clinics, where they can receive treatment at low or no cost.
Last year’s Free Dentistry Day saw eager members of the community lining up as early as 3pm on the day before the event, so Dr. Leo cautions interested parties to arrive early.
Please do not call Jones Bridge Dental Care – No appointments are taken for Free Dentistry Day, and, again, all patients are seen on a first-come-first-served basis. Additional information can be obtained on the event’s website at http://www.jbdfromtheheart.org
